Are organisms interdependent?

Organisms are interdependent on each other.

Why?

In a community, there are many different populations of plants and animals living together interact within the same environment.

Back to the first example, there are grass, deer and lions in an environment.

The deer feeds on the grass, and the lions feed on the deer.

Without any single one of these three organisms, none will be able to survive for long.

This is called a biological balance/equilibrium, which is like a web; if you break a single strand, the whole system will collapse.
